A Quick Story from the Kitchen to the Rink
Hey everyone! I’m Jan, 33 year old guy, working full-time as a chef in London—and when I’m not cooking, I’m lacing up for ball hockey. I play for London Czechoslovakia Ball Hockey Team and if you’ve seen us play, you’ve probably seen our sticks in action—90% of our team uses them.
So why did I start selling repaired pro stock hockey sticks?
It all began a couple years ago. Like many of you, I was buying top-end sticks for £250+… and breaking them mid-season. I was frustrated. Then I came across some repaired sticks in Europe. I was sceptical—“no way a broken stick plays the same,” I thought.
But after breaking three sticks in one season, I gave it a shot. I bought three repaired ones.
Believe it or not—they lasted longer. I played harder, freer, and wasn’t stressing every shot or slash. That’s when it hit me:
There must be more players like me—guys who love the game but don’t want to go broke over gear.
Fast forward to today, and we’re now in our second year making hockey more affordable in the UK.
